Tianhong International Hotel is composed of a 5-story podium and a 20-story building. The gross floor area is approximately 35,359 sqm, of which the above ground is 29,650 sqm and the underground 5659sqm.
This hotel building has a traditional Chinese symmetrical structure integrating the architectural elements of a Chinese ancient state of Chu and Han dynasty. While maintaining its main architecture function, we create an image of solemnity and grandeur for the building. The concept of the building is inspired by watchtower (a type of architecture in Han dynasty) and tripod. The absorption of Chu and Han cultures is all embodied in the details of the building. The combination of traditional and modern elements can not only enrich the city, but also characterize its culture.
The design of placing its circulation core at the center of the building and corridor around the hall makes it accessible to people walking through the hall, and meanwhile enables the natural light and fresh air into the corridor. This layout of space gives comfort to the people in the building and makes them feel at home.
